Marwan Al Mheiri

Marwan Salem Abunwas Al Muheiri is an accomplished Emirati executive with over two decades of leadership experience in the financial services sector. His career spans banking, human capital, and enterprise transformation, with a consistent focus on building high-performing organizations and shaping the next generation of national talent.
Marwan currently serves as the General Manager of the Emirates Institute of Finance (EIF), where he leads the institute’s national mission to strengthen the UAE’s financial sector workforce and enhance the country’s global competitiveness. His leadership is characterized by a strong public-sector ethos, deep industry experience, and a future-driven approach to capability development.
Prior to EIF, Marwan held senior roles at Emirates NBD and Emirates Islamic Bank, managing key functions including Human Resources, Business Banking, and Corporate Banking. He played a pivotal role in leading organizational transformation, advancing national development programs, and preparing emerging leaders across the banking industry.
Marwan holds a Master’s degree in International Business Law from Paris-Pantheon-Assas University and is a graduate of the Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development (MBRCLD), joining an elite network of leaders shaping the UAE’s long-term national vision.
