Pham Thi Hoang Anh

Vice President, Banking Academy of Vietnam (BAV)

Pham Thi Hoang Anh is Associate Professor of Economics and Finance, currently serving as the Acting President of the Banking Academy of Vietnam. She earned her PhD in Economics from Osaka University (Japan) and her MSc in International Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham (UK). As a scholar, Assoc.Prof. Pham has published a large number of scientific papers in top finance journals (notably, Research in International Business and Finance, Journal of Asian Economics, and Studies in Computational Intelligence), books with the world's leading publishers (Springer, MacMillan) and large-scale research projects funded by the State Bank of Vietnam, the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam, as well as international institutions such as IMF and ADB. Her research focuses on International Finance, Monetary and Exchange rate policy, International Capital Flows and Risk management in the banking sector, Green Finance... She is now also take charge of Besides pursuing research passion, Assoc.Prof. Pham is also in charge of managing the scientific research activities at the Banking Academy.
