Commercial Director
Chris joined the Chartered Banker Institute in November 2025 as commercial director having previously spent six years at UK India Business Council. During his time at UK India Business Council, Chris lead the Financial professional sector for the business supporting in understanding some of the key challenges and friction points in the UK India Trade corridor. He worked with the likes of HSBC, Barclays, Standard Chartered, Lloyds Bank, ICICI, DBS, SBI and HDFC as well many others.
Chris also supported the engagement with UK and Indian universities helping then to understand areas of opportunities as well as supporting UK companies and regions understand and partner in India.
Prior to his time at UKIBC Chris was the head of commercial and events at the International Festival for business, one of the largest business festivals in the country bringing thousands of participants from over one hundred countries to trade, invest and learn.
Chris is a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA ACMA) and is PRINCE2 qualified.
